Hi all! Happy Valentines Day! For the cheap skates out there, I hope you celebrated it yesterday, as everything is likely to be pricey today. It’s like 2 am in the morning here and I’m trying to clear the post processing of my never-ending flow of pictures.

Yesterday I covered “STEP IT UP!” Bboy Jam 2011, which was organized by INERTIA CREW at Republic Polytechnic, Singapore. The event included 5-on-5 Crew Battles, PowerMoves 7-to-Smoke and Rap Cyphers. All in all there were about 24 crews battling it out and the crowd was huge!

Hey guys! So much has been happening over the past few weeks! I have so much to share pictures wise but have yet to find the time to put it up. However, I always try my best to put up pictures from cool events like this up as soon as I possibility can as its just so much fun!

Launch of Sessions took place at dbl O (Double O) yesterday. As usual, great moves from the dance scene in Singapore. There was Poping, Locking, Breakdancing and Hip Hop.

Participants include:

(FREESTYLE HIP HOP) Flairnation, Styles from Beyond, Groovy Aggression, Foreign Bodies

(LOCKING) Alex, Rachel, Weijie, Nicholas Ho

(BBOY BATTLE) Bacau Rockers, Fuyo, Rhythmic Styles, Free Flow Sabai

(POPPING) Cheekay, Shulin, K-Lock, JIN

Just for kicks, I brought down one of my friends who told me he found it boring in Singapore. I happy he went home inspired and will be putting on his dancing shoes when he returns to UK.

This event was brought proudly sponsored by Carlsberg!

I’m happy to cover yet another awesome event before the year 2010 ends. The event was brought together by Recognize Studios, The Radikal Forze Crew, my favorite local DJ Ko Flow together with German MC Spax, DJ Mirko Machine and Bboy Raphael from The Battle Squad!

The music was great, the break dancing was top notch and the rapping rocked the dance floor. Looking at all of them perform makes me feel alive. Sometimes it makes me want to relive the old days where I used to perform myself. Last night I wondered how things would be so different if I had made different choices in my earlier years. Like studying something art related instead of Information Technology. Carrying on with break dancing instead of the many other hobbies I had. I love my life right now but sometimes I wonder, how it might be if I took the other road.

My path has been more or less decided. It’s the path that brings solid pictures to you! Enjoy!
