Yesterday, I had the privilege to do some photography at the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF), Suntec City, Singapore before it was opened to the public. Officially, it will be open from 15th to 22nd July (10 am – 10 pm).
It was pretty exciting for me as I was there during their last show in 2008 and was amazed by their showcase. This year, it’s even better! And being able to be there with no one getting in your way is just great :D
I will be conducting a photography workshop within the premises this weekend and I’m very sure there will be lots of photography opportunities for those of you who have already signed up for it.
Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what you can get:
You might want to bring the following items:
- Tripod - Lighting is dim
- Continuous Light - Preferably with a warm filter to lit up your subject when necessary
It is best to come on the day of opening for flower shows as the flowers will look better! In this case, it would mean the 15th!
Oh wait; there's more! I have 5 pairs of tickets to give out and I know you want it! But there is a catch! All you need to do is leave a comment before 5 pm, July 16 2010. If you don't know what to say, just tell me how badly you want the tickets :D I will pick 5 people randomly and send you an email (don’t forget to leave your email in your comment) with the details. Do note that this is only available to people who are physically in Singapore and will have to collect the tickets from me at Suntec city, 8:30 am, July 17 2010.
